Camp Phillips isn’t just for Boy Scouts!

Does your school, civic group, company or family need a unique retreat in the Northwoods of Wisconsin? Camp Phillips provides a wide variety of options whether you are looking for 3 hours of programming, a 3 day retreat, or anything in-between.

FACILITIES Accordian Control
    Fort Rice
  • Fort Rice has a bunk room that sleeps 30 and has 4 bedrooms downstairs that sleep 2-3 people each. Large male and female bathrooms with individual shower stalls.
    Baden Powell Lodge
  • Baden Powell is a rustic bunkhouse featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator, 2 bathrooms, and a shower. This is the only winter camp facility with a fireplace.
    Yukon
  • Yukon is a bunkhouse that has a kitchen with a refrigerator and a bathroom with a shower.
    Sourdough
  • Sourdough is a bunkhouse that has a kitchen with a refrigerator and a bathroom with a shower.
    Polar Bear
  • Stay in a barn that is now re-purposed into a bunkhouse. Polar Bear features a kitchen with refrigerator and pit toilets.
    Main Dining Hall
  • The main dining hall is a great place for a banquet, large meeting, training or any gathering. It is heated and features two public bathrooms. The commercial kitchen features four convection ovens, two conventional ovens, a flat top grill, a large walk-in refrigerator/freezer, food prep areas, and dish washing area.
    Cub World Dining Hall
  • It is a perfect place for large training sessions, picnic or indoor activities. Seating can be configured for up to 100 people. This facility is not heated and does not have running water.
PROGRAMMING Accordian Control
Camp Phillips has 1,400 acres of property and plenty of opportunities for your group. Our staff and council volunteers can provide just what your group is looking for. Contact the Camping Department at the Chippewa Valley Council to begin planning your group’s perfect retreat!
Shooting Sports Your group can practice marksmanship under the guidance of NRA certified Range Safety Officers and Instructors. Our shooting ranges are safe, modern and easy to access by car. You can bring in your own qualified supervision, or let us provide facilitators.

Ropes Course We can facilitate groups of all sizes. Our volunteer-led Ropes Course facilitators will lead your group through personal challenges, group challenges and empowerment exercises.
Climbing Wall Our climbing wall is perfect for youth groups. It offers different levels of difficulty. Our trained volunteers will encourage your group to reach new heights.
Zip Line Our 500 ft Zip Line is the highlight of our outdoor adventure area. Our zip platform is accessed via stairs for easy access.
Waterfront Your group can use our rowboats, canoes and swimming areas of Camp. Your group will have to provide lifeguards.
Snowshoeing and Hiking Camp Phillips includes a bounty of hiking trails, nature trails, and snowshoe routes. You can take your own self-guided adventure or ask us to guide your group.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY Accordian Control
PRICING Pricing for non-Scout groups varies depending on the group’s size and needs. We will work to provide programming that will fit your needs and budget. Our building reservation system will give you a guideline of our facility fees; programming provided by Camp Phillips will incur additional fees.
Partnering Your group may be able to become a partner organization with the Boy Scouts of America. You will receive discounted facility and programming fees while also receiving membership benefits such as insurance and additional programming from the national Boy Scouts of America organization.
The Camping Department can put you in touch with a Membership Executive if you would like to check qualifications. Our programming options are subject to availability. Many of our programming is staffed by trained volunteers. On certain dates, our volunteers may not be available. Our Camping Department will work with you to find a date that will work best for all parties involved. Buildings are reserved by all groups via the online registration system on a first come first served basis.
POLICIES Accordian Control
  • Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited on the Camp Phillips property. Violation of this policy will result in individuals and possibly your entire group being asked to leave.
  • Disability service animals are welcome on our property. Personal pets and therapy dogs are prohibited from the property.
  • Concealed carry weapons are prohibited on all BSA property.
  • The Camping Department will be in contact with you to fill out waivers and complete any required insurance paperwork.
